Informed Genomics Limited (IGL) are a start-up Genomics Services company with a mission to enable accessible testing in cancer. Our goal is to help change the experience people have if needing cancer testing, with the aim to easier and improved outcomes.

Person Specification:

Working with the Business Support team, you will provide a full range of Purchasing and Logistics services to the business, ensuring smooth functionality and an uninterrupted supply of materials.

Working with every part of the business, the role will be varied in duties and vital to the company’s continued growth.

Key responsibilities:

Determine product and service requirements, and handling purchasing requests.

E

Developing strong relationships with business stakeholders and supply partners to improve business outcomes.

E

Negotiating supplier agreements and preparation of contracts.

E

Maintaining supplies of key consumables and equipment based on stock levels and established trigger points.

E

Utilisation and continual development of the company’s ERP system (NetSuite).

E

Maintaining records of approved supplier information, including relevant ISO certification and accreditation to support IGLs regulatory responsibilities.

Preparing products for shipment, arranging transportation, and orchestrating deliveries to meet customer requirements.

E

Managing activities throughout the order fulfilment and transportation cycle, to ensure efficient progression through the company’s ERP system.

Ability to identify potential cost savings and process improvement, monitor KPIs to measure improvements and create the next steps.

Experience:

You will have proven experience of purchasing, procurement and/or logistics, with strong attention to detail and maintaining good records. As part of an evolving business, you will be able to manage a varied workload and prioritise your workload to the best benefit to the business.

You will be well versed in contract negotiation and performance monitoring, to help identify potential cost savings.

Experience working with an ERP system framework (Oracle / NetSuite, SAP etc.) will be seen as an advantage.
